Nursing Heart partners with community primary schools to provide a source of essential health resources and year-over-year individualized health tracking for young Guatemalan students. The students receive essential dental care and education that would not otherwise be available, nutritional care, and doctor’s consults and referral if necessary. Visiting undergraduates conduct the clinic under the supervision of licensed doctors, their faculty, and Nursing Heart medical staff while gaining invaluable experiences providing patient care.
